Riviera Beach

200 steps lead down to our favourite beach in Malta. Surfers come to Riviera Beach almost all year round and people love hiking along the coast.

You can walk around the gigantic rock that separates Riviera Beach from Gnejna Bay and make a whole circle.

In summer, the beach is packed with people. Unfortunately it is almost entirely covered by pricey parasols and beds since 2025.

In winter, only few tourists still get to the beach. It’s mostly locals who do hiking.

For the sunset you can either stay at Singita Restaurant or you watch it from the top. As the mural says: Connected to the ocean!
