Riviera Beach — 200 steps lead down to our favourite beach in Malta. Surfers come to Riviera Beach almost all year round and people love hiking along the coast. Some even do mountain-biking between the plateau and the gigantic rock that separates Riviera Beach from Gnejna Bay.

You can walk around the entire rock and make a whole circle, if you want to escape the summer crowds. In winter only few tourists find their way to the beach and some locals can be spotted swimming even in December. For the sunset you can either stay at Singita Restaurant or you watch it from the top. As the mural says: Connected to the ocean!
